I love football [or what they call soccer here in North America] and I love the Serie A in Italy as well as the English Premiership. The league in Italy is very high caliber that’s always the English Premiership because of all the players that they have brought in over the years to plan the top clubs.
Right now Kaka is at AC Milan but Manchester City has offered €100 million to buy the player for their club. That is the kind of thing that makes the English league so interesting and so good. They keep buying all these good players and every time someone like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal buy a big-name player everybody else has to follow suit. Kaka is only 26 years old and will really help Manchester City with his attacking style. He helped AC Milan when the Italian league title back in 2004, the champions league in 2007 along with the Club World Cup and FIFA player of the year in 2007 so it would be a real coup for Manchester United to get him. I still don’t think it will make them strong enough to catch the big boys like Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Right now man city lies 15th in the 20 team Barclays Premier league so I don’t think one player is going to get them up to the top but it definitely won’t hurt.
